Well established company in the apparel industry seeks a Help Desk / Support Analyst for immediate hire.
Candidate must have 4 to 6 years experience working in a full time capacity in technology.
The position will expose the candidate to several technology projects including: VMware virtualization, SAN deployment, Exchange 2010 migration, Windows Server 2008 migration, high speed internet circuits, modular routers and switches, wired/wireless networking infrastructure and off site disaster recovery build out.
This is a great long term growth opportunity in a highly technical environment.
Primary responsibilities:
Support of approximately 150 users in two locations
Setup, install, troubleshoot and resolve any computer system, network, software or printer issues.
Moves, adds, and changes to telephone/voicemail system.
Adding and removing users from BlackBerry Enterprise Server
Communicate effectively with management and employees to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies.
Maintain inventory of all hardware and software as well as warranty lengths and licensing terms
Provide administrative support to the CTO
Verify Backup jobs have completed and maintain tape rotation schedule. Experience with Symantec/Veritas BackupExec a plus.
Qualified candidates should have:
Familiarity with remote control software such as VNC, Remote Desktop, DameWare, etc.
Flexible working hours for night / weekend work as necessary.
A basic understanding of Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP
A+, Network+, MCP certification preferred but not required
Natural curiosity about technology and motivated to keep skill set current.
Good organizational skills
Ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal talent
